Vintage 1950s Clear Lucite Box Bag with Sparkling Rhinestones.
Carved lucite handle and top with four small flower stars at each corner just to the side of the handle base.
A very beautiful and collectable lucite bag in very good condition with only a few very light surface scratches to front and back.
One small rivet to the base has been replaced.
Fabulous decoration to lid and handle.
3 ball clasp works perfectly.

Size: 14cm h x 22 cm w x 8 cm d


This bag is vintage and has been used and as such is not in perfect condition.

An identical purse to this one can be seen in the HENDRIKIJE MUSEUM in AMSTERDAM and on page 278 of "Bags" by Pepin Press BV.

No makers marks or label, however research into lucite bags suggests that the hardware used on this bag is the same as that of Wiesner of Miami, Florida Handbags of Miami, Charles S Kahan of Miami or other high quality lucite American bag manufacturer.
