Lots of swagger in this pretty French Black Kid Suede Minaudiere carry-all with Victorian gold bows and swags design to top. I'm pretty sure too it's a Jeanne Bernard Les Creations Paris (No label)🗼a highly desirable collectable purse. Jeanne Bernard used the Victorian Bow detail in other Minaudiere creations also.
The ornate lid is reminiscent of a cushion or bolster and is the top of the powder compact - Opens and closes perfectly.
Gold inside the compact is in excellent condition where the powder would have been placed. Sifter is in good condition.
Lid compact lifts to cylindrical compartment to place your lipstick and other makeup items. Outside is covered in black kid/suede leather and has two handles attached with brass pin type fastening.
Condition: Very good to near mint - No marks to the kid/suede.
